Happy Thursday all! The sun was shining (for a little while) this morning! Now we are back to the dreariness…but it was nice while it lasted! I got my workout in and now it’s time for a protein shake!! YUMO!
Here’s everything you need! It is so delicious! And it keeps me full till lunch. The protein helps repair the tears in my muscles too…so I’m not so sore the next morning. I can definitely tell when I should have made a shake and didn’t. Hope you will give it a try! Below is a link for my blender that I love! I’ve had it for 3 years now and it still works great!
Tonight is small group for us! Small group is a group of people from our church that we do life with. Sometimes other churches may call these groups, life groups, or fish groups, or what have you. We meet in someone’s home for a couple of hours. We have babysitters that watch all of our kids (usually in a basement filled with toys). We meet in the spring and the fall and take holidays and summers off. The adults show up faithfully every week, and we do some type of study. We talk through issues and learn and grow from each other. We laugh together, and cry together. We walk through life with each other. We pray for each other. We hang out together. We do life outside of church together. This is a group of people that I know we can rely on. We deeply care about one another. We have been together for almost 4 years now. They are my tribe! I am so thankful for our group. We look forward to seeing everyone each week and catching up. I wanted to share with you what we are reading through this session…
We are only 3 chapters in, but so far it’s very interesting and enlightening. Stay tuned for review…😀 Here’s a link for the book…if you’d like to check it out…
And here’s what I’m wearing tonight and how I fixed my hair…although some nights I go in my sweats…It’s a totally laid back atmosphere. No one care’s what you wear…lol! They are just happy to see you! ❤️
For my hair I used my wand curling iron and did messy beachy waves and a bangs pony…my bangs are so long I have to pull them up or they will drive me nuts! I skipped my last hair appointment (which I never do! lol!) and now I’m regretting it. I needed the bottom of my hair to grow a little, so I could get it all up in a pony (my hair was super long and I just chopped it) which is why I skipped. 😐 Oh well…my next appointment isn’t too far off.
Thanks for stopping by!
